Monogram "V"

Hi friends....

Today I am having a monogram "V" which I made for a little girl for her birthday. My previous Monogram " V" is for a little boy.

I made this from the cardboard. Check this post for making of the base.As it is for a little girl I choose yellow and pink combination. I used little birdie chalk paint to paint it and using craftreat stencil I stencilled honey comb pattern. The flowers are made with Mudra gardenia die. Leaves are from Altenew Wreath set die.

Finished it of with pearls and butterflies.

Mongram " V"

Hi Friends, Recently I made a monogram ,this time for a little boy who celebrated his fourth birthday.

First I printed "V" in A4 size paper.Keeping that as a template I cut four "V"(two in cardboard and two in thick card stock)

Then I glued both cardboard pieces together and covered the edges with masking tape.

Now I adhered the card stock "v" at the front and gessoed it and used chalk paint to paint it.

Once it is dried I embellished it with handmade roses, washi tapes, punched flowers and balloons. The roses are made with Mudra Cut3 Gardenia die and Smile chip board is from Chip zeb.The butterflies are stamped in scrap paper, fussy cut and added to it.The balloons are added to it with acetate strips. After decorating it I adhere cardstock "V" at the back and added double sided sticker.

A close up view.

Monogram "P" - Quillling

Hello Friends, Today I am sharing my DT project for Indian Quilling Challenge Group IQCG #45 March color scheme.

I made this monogram P for a little girl for her birthday.First I printed out "P" in A4 size paper, then with that template I  cut four pieces ( 2 in cardboard and 2 in card stock).I glued  all  pieces together by keeping the card stock on both sides.

I applied gesso to the base and painted it with chalk paint .Using Archival ink and craftreat stencil ,I stenciled few areas.According to this month color scheme in IQCG I choose quilling strips for flowers. The size of this is 6" height and 5 "length.
