Easel card with drawers

Hi crafty friends,

Today I am back with a recycle project, an easel card with drawers.

For this project I started with soap boxes. I trim the soap box to create a drawer.

Then I made compartment using the kraft sheet for the drawers.

I used Papericious Birds song Paper pack  to decorate. Used Eiffel die from MFT and flower dies from DMC.

I made an easel card which measures 3.5" * 2.5".

I used dove soap boxes to create the drawers.

I made a shirt card to go with.

Mini Quilled Garden

Hello Crafty friends,

Today i am sharing my project for IQCG  #50.Yes, it our blog's 50th challenge and that too with our tricolor scheme. Please do participate and have fun.

Here is my project, a mini garden. For this I recycled a soap box.I have used 3mm quilling strips to make the flowers and leaves.

I covered the box with paper and layered a thermocol piece inside. After that I cut few strips of thick paper little longer than length of the box and pasted to both sides one by one which forms a support for  the grasses. The grasses are hand cut and pasted on the strips.

I made few leaves in green and flowers in orange, white and blue color .After adding stems, I  arranged them according to our flag.

The front of box is decorated with some hand cut fence, grass die cut and pearls.

Hope you all like my project and please do participate in our current challenge to win gift voucher Rs.500 from Craftsneed

Happy Crafting,

Home Decor

Hi friends..Today I am  sharing a decor piece which I made using cardboard and few wooden pieces.

First I covered the cardboard (6" * 8") piece using card stock and gessoed it.After it dried I applied texture paste using brick stencil and sprinkled some silver glitter dots.I sprayed little birdie lemon zing color splash till I get desired background. Applied Vintage photo DI using brick stencil at few areas to add additional interest.

I made these Quilled pots & cactus with 5 mm maroon and green strips while flowers and leaves using 3 mm strips.

These small triangular wooden pieces are left over from a carpentering work at my friend's place. She has collected these pieces thinking that I will make something with these.I painted these with copper metallic color.

I die cut the corner from the wedding invitation. Finally added glossy accent on the die cut words.
