Hi Friends, Recently I made a monogram ,this time for a little boy who celebrated his fourth birthday.
First I printed "V" in A4 size paper.Keeping that as a template I cut four "V"(two in cardboard and two in thick card stock)
Then I glued both cardboard pieces together and covered the edges with masking tape.
Now I adhered the card stock "v" at the front and gessoed it and used chalk paint to paint it.
Once it is dried I embellished it with handmade roses, washi tapes, punched flowers and balloons. The roses are made with Mudra Cut3 Gardenia die and Smile chip board is from Chip zeb.The butterflies are stamped in scrap paper, fussy cut and added to it.The balloons are added to it with acetate strips. After decorating it I adhere cardstock "V" at the back and added double sided sticker.
A close up view.

ReplyDeleteWow....such pleasant color and wonderful design
ReplyDeleteHi Sindhu! What a lovely letter you've both made and also decorated. I would have had to buy a letter ready to decorate at the very least - ha, mostly as I'm likely to chop my fingers off at any opportunity! A Ggorgeous result - so beautifully decorated. Love it!
