CD photo frame

Hello Friends...

After so many months I am here with my recent creations CD photo frame. I recycle few CDs to make these frames as return gifts for my son's birthday...

First I rub the CDs front and back with sand paper to make the surface little rough.I adhere pattern paper on one side and thick chart paper on the other side.

Then I embellished it with few handmade flowers and die cuts.It can hold the photo size of 2" * 3".

I made 10 (2 in each designs).

Hope you all like my projects.

Wall hanging - quilled flowers

Hi friends,

Today I am having a Wall hanging to share. I used old CDs for the base.

I took three CDs and I applied gesso and painted one CD with Lavender blush chalk paint from little birdie. And for the other two CDs I glued light purple handmade sheet. Using Mudra mandala stencil I applied texture paste on all three. Once its dried I stick all CDs using foam tape. For the flowers I used 3mm quilling strips. The golden rope is glued on corners. On the top  I added a small wooden clip to hold the photo (Size 3" * 4") or quote. I stamped the quote from Mudra Metamorphosis stamp set. Finally finished it off with small golden butterflies.
