Altered Cup - Tutorial

Hi crafty friends...After four months I am here with an altered cup which I made for Itsy bitsy's   “Crafter in the Spotlight”.

Materials required for this altered cup are stencil,chalk paints,Silicon glue, few embellishments and cup.

Take a clean ceramic cup and apply lemon chiffon chalk paint.

I gently dab the lemon chiffon chalk paint with the brush.

I used the brick stencil for stenciling and Sailing sky chalk paint.

I stenciled it at equal intervals. 

The base is ready,now its time to embellish.  I wrapped the cup with ribbon using silicon glue.

I distressed the die cut with peacock feather distress ink.To match the back ground I painted the white flower with the chalk paint .I added the sentiment from Live Laugh Love stamp set and finished it with some pearls.

Paper Blue Whale

As my son is having holidays most of the time I spent with him doing some kids craft..One is Paper Blue whale…

It is very easy to make..Take two strips of same breadth but different length…One should be little small in size..

Draw the Tail and cut the tail by keeping the smaller piece under.. so that you both the tails are same.. 

Now folded 1 cm in the smaller strip and paste the larger strip to it.. paste the tail portion also..draw the eyes and mouth…Attached fringed paper at the top.....

Pink and White card - Tutorial

The card which I posted here got request from my friends to show the side view.. 

We can call this tutorial as mini one because I have included only the base..

Take an a4 size paper and folded it and draw a heart and from the bottom measure 2 cm and draw a line to the end and cut it.

Fold on 2 inch to the center

and fold back at 1.5 inch  and fold the remaining again to the center..

Similarly do for other side also

now cut a slit measuring 1cm from down on left side to two in  the folds in center and in right side cut from top.Join it as we do for cascading cards.

The white strip and white hearts are glued to it.The side view..
